The Twelve Apostles is defined by a road. It is the only hotel on the coastal stretch between Camps Bay and Hout Bay, with 70 rooms, the Twelve Apostles range and Lion Head behind, and the Atlantic in front. Almost every room looks at the sea or the mountain. The ones that do not are the ones to avoid if the view is why you came. Ellerman House, in Bantry Bay, is a smaller manor and a different bay. The Waterfront is the other direction. Come if the drive along Victoria Road is the arrival you want. Skip it if you need to be in the city after dinner. The road back is the decision.
