Our read

Grand Hotel Timeo is the hotel at Via Teatro Greco 59. The page keeps Villa Sant'Andrea as the shuttle, not the address.

Come here for

  • The terrace beside the Greek theatre
  • Otto Geleng, if that restaurant is the booking
  • Villa Timeo, if you want the quieter house

Skip it if

  • You wanted the beach as the door
  • A city hotel would suit you better

We’d rather send you somewhere else than send you somewhere that doesn’t suit you.

Grand Hotel Timeo, a Belmond hotel, stands at Via Teatro Greco 59, 98039 Taormina. The property phone is +39 0942 6270 200. They publish 67 rooms and suites, including 2 signature suites and 21 rooms in the renovated Villa Timeo. A second line on the same page says 67 rooms, 2 signature suites, and 21 rooms in Villa Timeo. Ask which reading they want kept. They name Otto Geleng and say it received a Michelin star in 2026. That is their claim. Also on the page: Ristorante Timeo, Timeo Grill, Bar Timeo, Bar Clementina in Villa Timeo, a Dior Spa, a heated pool, and an infinity pool at the villa. A complimentary shuttle runs to Lido Villeggiatura at Villa Sant'Andrea. This page is Timeo, not the beach hotel. Catania airport is about an hour, and Palermo about three, as they time those drives. They date a guesthouse to 1850. That is their history. Book on their page. MindReach does not take the reservation.
