The place itself
Eremito is a contemporary hermitage near Parrano in Umbria, built for silence. Dinner is eaten in silence. They describe the stay as a digital detox inside a UNESCO biosphere reserve. There is no Wi-Fi, and inside the hermitage there is generally no phone signal. The rooms, which they call Celluzze, are simple. You do not come to be entertained. One rate includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner, wine and herbal teas, yoga, guided meditation, a relax area with a Turkish bath and jacuzzi, and the jeep from the parking area. Nothing during the stay is an extra. The price changes by Celluzza and by season. The only added charge they name is the tourist tax: 1 euro per person per night for the first two nights.
