Udaivilas is a lakeside resort, and the arrival can be the point. Oberoi asks guests to come across Lake Pichola by the hotel boat, with City Palace on the far bank. The grounds are about 30 acres. Some suites have a temperature-controlled private pool. Some Premier rooms share a semi-private pool. A garden Premier room does not. They do not print a single room count, so the category is the decision. Mewar by Vineet is the regional table. Pets are not allowed. The airport is about 45 minutes. Come if the lake and a specific pool are the holiday. Skip it if any room will do, or if you are travelling with a dog.

They recommend arriving by their private boat rather than only by car. Maharana Pratap Airport is about 27 kilometres, which they time at about 45 minutes on one page and 30 to 50 minutes on another. City Palace is across the lake, not inside the resort. Mewar by Vineet cooks the regional food. Suryamahal and Chandni are the dining rooms. The Promenade is the lakeside bar. Pets are not permitted. Check-in is 2:00 pm and check-out is noon. A pool is not in every room. Ask which category you are booking. The lake view belongs to specific suites and to the Premier City Palace View rooms.
