Udaipur has many hotels that say lake. This one prints the lake as Lake Pichola and then splits the rooms by what you actually see and whether you have water of your own. A plunge pool is on the garden room that says so. A balcony is on the lake room that says so. Sheesh Mahal is the Indian dinner. The Dining Room is the lunch with the view and the cellar. The airport is 45 minutes, so this is not a hotel you reach between flights. Come if the lake and the named room are the trip. Skip it if you booked Jaipur, which is on the Delhi highway at Kukas, or if you assumed every heritage room has a pool.

They set the hotel against Lake Pichola and put the airport at 45 minutes. The room names are the decision. A Grande Heritage Garden View Room with Plunge Pool is not a Grande Heritage Lake View Room with Balcony, and neither is a garden room or a lake room without those words. Sheesh Mahal is the Indian fine-dining room. The Dining Room is the global table, with the lake and a wine cellar they ask you to come for at lunch. The Library Bar is separate. In August 2025 the hotel named Prasoon Pandey as general manager. A plunge pool facing the garden and a balcony facing the lake are two holidays. Jaipur is a different Leela, an hour from its own airport, at Kukas. Reserve with the hotel. MindReach does not take the booking.
