Wildflower Hall is the forest above Shimla, not a hotel on the Mall. Fifteen kilometres and 2,515 metres separate it from The Oberoi Cecil. The cedar and the old Kitchener house are the stay. A suite has a butler. A garden room looks at a lawn, not necessarily at a valley. The page disagrees with itself on the drive from Chandigarh: about three hours in one paragraph, five hours and 135 kilometres in the travel note. Come if the forest is the point and you have asked which view the room has. Skip it if you wanted to walk to the Ridge after dinner. That walk belongs to the Cecil.

They place it in 93,078 square metres, which they also call 23 acres, of cedar forest, at 2,515 metres, 15 kilometres from central Shimla. It was the residence of Lord Kitchener. The welcome text says Chandigarh is about three hours. The travel note on the same page says 135 kilometres and five hours. Use the hotel for the timing on your date. The roads are the arrival. A balcony is not on every room. A Deluxe Garden View looks at the croquet lawn. Butler service, on their FAQ, is for suite guests. Pets are not allowed. Check-in is 2:00 pm. The spa has treatment cabins in the cedar. There is an indoor pool and an outdoor whirlpool. The Oberoi Cecil is on the Mall, in town. This is not that hotel. A gazebo dinner, Lutyens Hall, and a film in Periwinkle Hall are separate bookings. Reserve with the hotel. MindReach does not take the booking.
