Rajputana is a city haveli, and Rajvilas is a garden resort. Two hundred and eighteen rooms sit around a courtyard pool on Palace Road. Peshawri is the meal that changes the stay: North West Frontier cooking, an apron, and your hands. A Thikana has a butler. An Executive Club room does not take an extra bed. Come if you want the Pink City at the door and that restaurant. Skip it if you booked the Oberoi on Goner Road and think a haveli is the same idea. The forts are still a drive. The hotel is not the fort.

The place itself

ITC Rajputana is on Palace Road, Gopalbari, Jaipur 302006. The hotel phone on their directory is +91 141 4051600. They print 218 rooms, including 16 Thikana suites and one Presidential suite. Another line splits the same hotel as a Presidential suite, 16 Thikana suites, 45 Rajputana Royale rooms, 86 Rajputana Chambers, and 70 Executive Club rooms. The building is a haveli around a courtyard and a pool, in red brick, and they call it LEED Platinum. This is inside Jaipur. The Oberoi Rajvilas is on Goner Road, about 10 kilometres out, and it is a different booking. Peshawri cooks the North West Frontier and asks guests to tie on an apron and eat with their hands. Jaipur Pavilion and Jal Mahal are the other restaurants they name. Sheesh Mahal and Jharokha are the bars. An extra bed is not allowed in an Executive Club room. A Thikana suite has a butler. The Presidential suite is the one with 24-hour butler service. Rooms run from 312 square feet to 1,365. Reserve with the hotel. MindReach does not take the booking.
