Where are Hideaway Huts?
The Shepherd's Hut and Lambing Hut are at Treworgey Farm near Duloe, Cornwall, in the Looe valley (about half an hour west of Plymouth). Sat nav can be unreliable — follow the written Treworgey directions sent with booking. The Watch House is on the cliff path between Polruan and Polperro; exact parking notes are sent after booking.
What can I book?
Three stays: The Shepherd's Hut (sleeps 2, wood-fired hot tub), The Lambing Hut (sleeps 2, outdoor bath), and The Watch House (off-grid clifftop cottage sleeping up to 5). Book at hideawayhuts.co.uk or email stay@hideawayhuts.co.uk.
Are the huts dog friendly?
Yes. One well-behaved dog is welcome at The Shepherd's Hut, The Lambing Hut, and The Watch House. Confirm when you book.
Do the huts have private bathrooms?
Yes. Unlike many glamping sites, each farm hut has its own private bathroom hut — about 20 yards from The Shepherd's Hut, and a few steps from The Lambing Hut. The Watch House has a flushing loo and outdoor shower.
Can hut guests use the farm pool and riding school?
Shepherd's Hut and Lambing Hut guests can use Treworgey Cottages facilities including the swimming pool, riding school, and tennis court. That does not apply to the Watch House, which is about 6 miles from the farm.
What is the Watch House like?
A remote 19th-century coastguard lookout near Polruan: no electricity, no phone signal, a 20-minute walk from the car park. Mains water, log burner, gas cooking, and spectacular coastal views. It is not for everyone — Hideaway Huts says that is the point. They manage bookings for the owners.
How do I book?
Book online at hideawayhuts.co.uk, email stay@hideawayhuts.co.uk, call 01503 262730, or WhatsApp Holly on 07825 091470.
