Son Servera, Spain

Finca Son Gener

A stone finca on the old road from Son Servera to Artà, with a reed vault opening onto the court.

Our read

What stood out was the arched door in the farmhouse wall, the bougainvillea along the terrace, and the reed ceiling over a piano and a rough court. A circular bath is cut into the stone. The hills are the far side of the pool.

They describe the restaurant as ecological, and say they put what is natural first. The stone house still reads as a farm, a small arched door and an olive in the court. Bougainvillea runs the length of a terrace in front of that stone. Inside, a reed vault opens onto a court of rough wall, with a piano under the arch. A circular bath sits in a room of fitted stone. The long pool looks toward wooded hills and a line of sea. Daybeds sit against a stone wall, with bougainvillea on the pier.
