Lapa Rios Lodge sits on a 1,000-acre private reserve in the lowland rainforest of the Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica, where the forest meets the Pacific. The lodge describes the reserve as part of its work to keep the last tropical lowland rainforest in Central America.
