Suzhou is still sold as a garden you can walk to before breakfast. Kempinski answers with silk, then with geography that is not the old town. The hotel is in the industrial park, between Jinji Lake and Dushu Lake, with 4,000 square metres of garden and a lakeside lawn of the same size. The ballroom is 1,914 square metres and pillarless, which is why a wedding planner would forward the page even if a garden tourist would not. Wang Hu Ge is the Chinese restaurant. Munich Brewery is the other Suzhou, the one that is not a pavilion. Come if the lakes and a large event are the stay. Skip it if the Humble Administrator's Garden was the morning. That walk is a different district.
