What is the KurSpa at Sparkling Hill?
The KurSpa is a 40,000-square-foot European-style hydrotherapy spa that is the centrepiece of the resort. It includes a crystal steam room, Finnish saunas, saltwater indoor and outdoor pools, a snow cave (with real falling snow year-round), an ice fountain, relaxation grottos, and a full treatment menu. The thermal journey through hot-cold-warm environments follows the traditional Austrian Kur (cure) tradition. KurSpa access is included for all resort guests.
Why are there Swarovski crystals throughout the resort?
The resort was founded by members of the Swarovski family, whose Austrian heritage informed both the design philosophy and the connection to the crystal tradition. Over 3.5 million crystals are embedded throughout the resort — chandeliers, walls, ceilings, spa features — creating an environment where light, reflection, and beauty are part of the wellness experience.
