What stay types do you have?
Six log cabins on the south-shore beach (kitchenettes, showers, BBQ, fire pit) plus a main lodge with a licensed lounge. An RV campground on the north shore has washrooms, tables, and fire pits but no hook-ups.
Do cabins include food and bedding?
No. Guests supply their own food, sleeping bags, and towels. Cabins have a propane fridge, 3-burner cooktop, dishes, cutlery, pots and pans.
What fish are in Grist Lake?
Lake trout, whitefish, and northern pike. The lake is about 3 miles long and up to 300 feet deep. Jumbo Lake is a short walk for fly-fishing pike.
Can we rent a boat?
Yes. 14-foot aluminum boats with 15 HP 4-stroke engines, fuel, and life jackets. Alberta requires the boat-safety course.
Are you open in winter?
Yes, year-round -- ice fishing, ski-dooing, and cross-country skiing as well as summer fishing.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, with notice at booking. $15 per pet per day, maximum 2 pets per cabin.
