## Our read

Ingeli is easy to file as another KwaZulu-Natal hotel. It is 43 country rooms at Weza, on the R56, with La Vita Spa in the forest rather than a beach in front of the deck. Come for that forest and that spa. Skip it if the sea was the point of the trip.

## Come here for

- 43 country rooms looking into the forest at Weza
- La Vita Spa, on the property
- Trails, a tennis court, and a forest wedding venue if that is the reason you came

## Skip it if

- You wanted a beach hotel. Weza is inland, on the R56.
- You wanted Pietermaritzburg or the Midlands towns. This gate is the forest.

## The place

ANEW Resort Ingeli Forest is at 3792 Mackton Farm on the R56 at Weza, in the forest inland from the KwaZulu-Natal south coast. The page counts 43 country rooms and says the rooms look out on the view. La Vita Spa is on the property, with cold and heated pools, a tennis court, mini adventure golf, mountain biking, and trail running. There is a forest wedding venue and four event spaces. The phone is +27 39 553 0600. The drive is the decision. Weza is not a beach town and it is not Pietermaritzburg. You come for the forest and a country room, then a treatment if you booked it at La Vita. The page does not print a nightly rate. Someone who wanted the Indian Ocean at the end of the lawn should book the coast. Someone who wants the rooms inside the trees is looking at the right gate. Reserve with the hotel. MindReach does not take the booking.
