## Our read

Bryanston is the original City Lodge: a 1985 hotel on former nursery ground, opposite Mediclinic Sandton, with a 10-seater boardroom. Come if the garden and the clinic are why you are in northern Johannesburg. Skip it if you needed a printed room count, or a hotel on Rivonia Road.

## Come here for

- 2 Nursery Lane, on former nursery ground
- A 10-seater boardroom, and a pool in the garden
- A sleeper-couch room if a child is travelling

## Skip it if

- You wanted Rivonia Road or Hill Road. Those are other Sandton hotels.
- You need a published room total before you book. The page does not print one.

## The place

City Lodge Hotel Bryanston sits at 2 Nursery Lane in Bryanston, Sandton, on the grounds of a former nursery, with landscaped gardens and a swimming pool. The page says this was the first hotel in the group, launched in 1985. It sits opposite Mediclinic Sandton, close to major highways, and to the Sandton and Randburg CBDs. There is a fitness room, a 10-seater boardroom, and uncapped WiFi. #Café is the restaurant. Rooms with a sleeper couch exist for a child whose combined ages with a sibling are not more than 16. Parking is available, and the page does not print a price. The phone is +27 11 706 7800. The page does not print a room total. Do not invent one. This is not City Lodge Sandton Morningside on Hill Road, and it is not Courtyard Sandton on Rivonia Road. Nursery Lane is the fact. The page does not print a fixed nightly rate. Reserve with the hotel. MindReach does not take the booking.
