## Our read

Sand Hill is the Menlo Park hotel at 2825 Sand Hill Road. The page says the hills are the view, not the lodging.

## Come here for

- Sand Hill Road, if Menlo Park is the stay
- A villa, if the kitchen and the yard are the reason
- Madera, if dinner stays on the property

## Skip it if

- You wanted San Francisco
- You wanted a cabin in the Santa Cruz mountains

## The place

Rosewood Sand Hill stands at 2825 Sand Hill Road, Menlo Park, California 94025. The phone is +1 650 561 1500. The hotel email is sandhill@rosewoodhotels.com. They describe rooms with balconies, suites with a parlor, and residential villas with a kitchen, laundry, and a fenced yard. Madera is the restaurant they name, with a bar and private rooms for up to 16. They also publish access to a Colnago C72 road bike with local guidance. Asaya is the movement studio they list. The Santa Cruz mountains are the view they mention from the terrace, not a cabin in the range. This is Menlo Park, on Sand Hill Road, not a San Francisco hotel and not a beach. A guest who wanted the city should book the city. Ask which rooms face the hills before you compare a villa with a guestroom. Book on their page. MindReach does not take the reservation.
