## Our read

Hotel La Palma is the hotel at Via Vittorio Emanuele 39. The page keeps their line that the rooms do not face the sea.

## Come here for

- The Piazzetta at the door
- Fuoco, if the roof is the point
- A terrace over the roofs

## Skip it if

- You wanted a room facing the sea
- A quiet cove matters more than the town

## The place

Hotel La Palma stands at Via Vittorio Emanuele 39, 80073 Capri. The property phone for general enquiries is +39 081 837 0133. Reservations also list +39 081 18 18 74 26. They publish 50 rooms and suites, each with a balcony, terrace, or loggia, and they say the rooms look over the rooftops, not the sea. They date the house to 1822. That is their history. Dining they name includes Casa Tua, Fuoco by Casa Tua on the roof, Mare by Casa Tua at Marina Piccola, and The Club. There is a pool deck over the street and a spa. The Piazzetta is steps away. The beach is not the window. This is Capri town, not a cliff hotel and not Splendido in Portofino. Book on their page. MindReach does not take the reservation.
