## Our read

This Somatheeram is worth the journey because it is a beach Ayurveda house at Chowara with named medical packages and yoga, on somatheeram.org. A similarly named resort on another domain is a different booking, and a spa hotel in Kovalam is another stay.

## Come here for

- Travellers who will come to Chowara for an Ayurveda package, not a Kovalam beach holiday with a massage list
- People who want German-Indian management and an English-speaking medical team on the published pages
- Guests who will book somatheeram.org, and who know there is another business with a similar name

## Skip it if

- You meant the other Somatheeram. Check the address: Chowara, somatheeram.org, red S mark.
- You want a short beach break without a treatment package. The published product is Ayurveda, yoga and the rooms together.

## The place

Somatheeram Ayurvedic Health Resort sits on the beach at Chowara, south of Kovalam, Trivandrum 695 501. This field guide is the property on somatheeram.org, the red S mark. Another business uses a similar name on a different site. Book this one on somatheeram.org. The about pages describe German-Indian management, more than thirty years with international guests, and a beach a few minutes from the rooms. Rooms are printed with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, fans, mosquito nets, and flasks of warm Ayurvedic water or tea. Named stays include the Sidhartha Deluxe Suite and the Kerala Deluxe Suite, as well as cottages. The homepage lists five treatment packages: rejuvenation, body purification, stress management, slimming, and body immunisation. Yoga and meditation are part of the published programme. The doctors page names a large Ayurveda medical team, including Dr Jobin Babu. The property prints that the Kerala government has selected it ten times as Best Ayurvedic Centre. A summer note on the homepage for May to July 2026 offers 20 percent off the treatment in a Standard Cottage, and 15 percent in other rooms, with 10 percent in September 2026. India contacts on the official contact-india page are Thanu and Anoop, info@somatheeram.org, +91 471 2266501. The European office is a different address, in Germany, and is not the booking path for this stay. Reserve with the hotel. MindReach does not take the booking.
