## Our read

Wuhan is three towns, and this hotel is specific about which one. It is in Hankou, at 700 Jian She Avenue, in the financial centre, with three subway lines and MixC. The hotel also says the rooms have been refurbished. Come if that side of the river, and a recently redone hotel, are what you want. Skip it if you wanted Wuchang, or a count of rooms the page does not give.

## The place

Shangri-La Wuhan is at 700 Jian She Avenue, Hankou, Wuhan 430015. The hotel phone is +86 27 8580 6868. The hotel places itself in the financial centre of Hankou, with three subway lines and The MixC nearby. It says recent refurbishments have changed the facilities. Hankou is the concession side of the city, which is a different Wuhan from Wuchang across the river. The page used here does not print a room count, so the guide does not invent one. The decision is whether Hankou, the mall and the metro are the stay, after the rooms were redone. Reserve with the hotel. MindReach does not take the booking.
