## Our read

Schatzalp is the sanatorium above Davos, and you still arrive by the funicular. The long balcony, and the rooms that open onto it, are the reason it was selected.

## Come here for

- A hotel reached by funicular
- Davos above the town

## Skip it if

- You want a city hotel
- You want the sea

## The place

Schatzalp is at Schatzalp, CH-7270 Davos Platz. The contact page prints that address and the telephone +41 (0)81 415 51 51. Write info@schatzalp.ch. Book on schatzalp.ch. The rooms are empty of guests. There is no film here. Schatzalp is one hotel above Davos, with its own desk and its own funicular. The other frames are the rooms and the mountains.
